Pitch:
The Invaders developed the campaign ‘Readification’ for the Leescoalitie and NBD Biblion, using the world of gaming to get young people in touch with literature.
Writers such as Marion Pauw, Manon Uphoff and Rima Orie set to work by telling new stories within the virtual worlds in which young people play every day.
The resulting short stories were launched during the Boekenweek van Jongeren, among other events, and can be read in the Ubisoft Special app, which takes advantage of the capabilities of smartphones and tablets. While reading, images and audio from the games pass by, resulting in an immersive and rich reading experience. Proof that reading is anything but stuffy.
